Today we interview Mathew Sison, a second year medical Student at the NYIT college of Osteopathic Medicine Old Westbury Campus.   Before enrolling in medical school Matthew completed his undergraduate at Cornell University and did clinical research at the Mount Sinai Hospital Ican School of Medicine within the Department of Anesthesiology.. While at NYIT-Com, Matthew has continued his research efforts at Mount Sinai as well as on campus at NYIT and at the University of Rochester.  Mathew has been distinguished with multiple  scientific research Awards including the NYCOM Student Researcher of the year award and the National SOMA Research Spotlight Award.  He has also won and placed at several national conferences including AOCA VAPOR  and Soma.   In this episode Matthew discusses his experiences and the role research has played in his medical journey so far.
